This book serves as an introduction to the dynamic field of radiology for medical students, non-radiology house staff, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, radiology assistants, and other allied health professionals and provides information that ranges from basic radiographic principles to advanced imaging techniques. The editors and authors introduce the approach to SAFE radiology, explaining the concepts of S-safety in all modalities, A-appropriateness of imaging ordering, F-interpreting films and E-acting expeditiously on significant findings and executing the recommendation of the imaging findings.
